Hello Parents,
I will be sending home some reading homework with your child on Tuesday. A letter will be included to let you know what is expected of your child.
The Grade 1 students will have a homework portfolio/ twin pocket folder. The pocket folder will remain at home at all times. The only thing to be returned to school will be the large ziploc bag. I will insert the homework in the ziploc bag every Tuesday. The French homework will be mostly practising identifying and reading thematic vocabulary.
The Grade 2 students will have a homework duotang. Homework will be sent home on Tuesdays and must be returned on the following Monday. Please have your child complete all homework using a printing pencil. (no pens, no markers please)
About 2 weeks ago, I sent home a permission form for the class Blog and last week I sent home a form for you to fill out if your child was interested in participating in a French reading program. Your child would receive a book along with a Reading log in his/her ziploc bag with his/her homework. It's important that I receive those forms ASAP.
